Now, three months later, Alexa finally arrived on those watches. When you activate the assistant for the first time, you’ll need to perform the ritual: grant it access to your microphone and other parts of your watch. After that, in order to use Alexa, you’ll need to go onto your paired smartphone and download the Alexa app. Once you install it, you’ll need to go into the “Devices” section and add the smartwatch. After that, you’ll be able to use Alexa.
There are just a few limitations
According to 9To5Google, Alexa runs well on the allotted Skagen and Fossil smartwatches. There are just a few limitations to be aware of. Firstly, you can’t access Alexa using voice commands. You’ll need to do so manually on the smartwatch. The app will recommend you use a shortcut button to make the process faster. Also, when you look up results or a search, Alexa won’t give you verbal feedback. The results will appear as text on the screen, so you’ll need to read the results. Other than that, using Alexa on these smartwatches should be a joy.
